Parks
The Parks Department (officially Parks and Recreation) appears to have no familiarity with the New York state Vehicle and Traffic Law. A few examples appear below.

(Central Park) Direction signs must have white letters on a green background.
The typeface must be an approved sans serif, gothic font.

(Rockaway - Beach 94th parking area) Same issues.
(Rockaway - Shore Front Parkway / Beach 94th area) Same issues, plus
Yellow may only be used to separate traffic in opposing directions.
Motorists are required to stay to the right of yellow markings. Is that really the intention?

(Rockaway - Shore Front Parkway) Again, colors and typeface.
Also, in a populated area, signs must be 7’ above the ground.
